Unlike other solutions, mediaQuant builds out the catalog of measured topics for you. No customer coding or configuration required. The catalog is continually updated, and currently spans more than 3,500 trends, brands, and influencers discussed in traditional, online, and social media. Topics are organized along established market sectors.

STEP 2: MEASURE COVERAGE IN A UNIFORM WAY

Next we tally raw media mentions of all catalog topics across more than 100,000 global news sources. For new topics, a 4-year analytic history is built. We count mentions at an overall, aggregate level, as well as within 14 individual media segments.

STEP 3: WEIGHT, INDEX & COMPARE

Next we weight, index, and distill mentions across all catalog topics down to a simple comparative score of media prominence, called the media rating. Now that we have a uniform metric, we can compare it to any other measured topic. We further determine media sentiment and calculate advertizing value equivalent.

STEP 4: PUBLISH ONLINE, ACCESS ANYTIME

Lastly, we flow the metrics into easy-to-use analytic dashboards with the ability to filter and compare by different dimensions.
