In the Internet Brands category, Zynga, the internet gaming company, continues to hit the media banana peel. For the May reporting period it garnered a TrendSignal of 68, -6 points below the previous month and -5 points below the trailing 12-month average of 73. From a segment perspective, it’s losing ground in both traditional media (down -7 points) and social media (down -5 points).
But probably the most telling metric is the rank position decline within the Internet Brands peer group. Zynga was passed by 12 other Internet brands during the May reporting period, going from #25 to #37.
